LATEST DEVELOPMENTS AT “Hiro Energy-Tech Ltd.”

INNOVATION IN TECHNOLOGY IS A WAY OF LIFE AT “Hiro Energy-Tech Ltd.” WITH GREEN SOLUTIONS TO ALL THE ENERGY AND WATER PROBLEMS,  HELPING IN MINIMIZING THE CARBON FOOTPRINTS.

Whatever  a small number  of CSP projects commissioned and operating in India,  the most common problem is water required in large quantities, so much so that some of the projects under construction have been delayed due to insufficient provision of water  availability. Water is required in large quantities for these projects for steam generation, condensate cooling as well as mirror cleaning. While one cannot avoid using water for steam generation and the mirror cleaning, the condensate cooling could be done with alternate source like air cooling, this could result in reduction in energy conversion efficiency.  Alternately, seawater could be used for condensate cooling if the project site is situated near the coast. This will provide twin advantages, one as cooling water for condensate cooling and two as source of raw water for desalination unit.

We provide complete solution to these problems with optimizes use of available resources.
We, at “Hiro Energy-Tech Ltd..” have innovated the technology and  design by addition of  desalination unit using waste heat in the air cooling design. This will not only improve the conversion efficiency but would provide much needed extra water for the system. In fact, with availability of source of raw water, it is possible to produce more water than is required for the system making it a self sustainable.

While yet as another alternative, we are working on other technological variant using a modified solar chimney where air could be used in place of steam and wind turbines would replace steam turbines as prime movers for alternators totally eliminating the use of water.
Also, with the incorporation of a desalination unit using waste heat in the heated air stream, it is possible to produce large quantities of water as a byproduct making the system more efficient in conversion of energy.

The work on the designs based on above innovations is almost over and we are in the process of conducting “Modulation and Simulation” exercises in order to perfect these processes.
